DuckDawg Creek Sport Horses

We are a small breeding farm that started from a desire to find a horse that could "do it all" and still have the temperament you could trust with your child.

We raise purebred Connemara Ponies and also combine the ponies with the Pure Spanish Horse or Andalusian as they are often called in the USA. The Spanish horses constantly amaze me with their stable and easy-going temperaments and their gorgeous movement. They are positively breath-taking - noble and elegant.

The Connemaras are hardy, tough, sure-footed and very plucky. They add spice and tremendous athletic ability to the mix. The resulting foals are what I consider the perfect Amateur's horse... uncomplicated, easy to care for (most never need shoes), gorgeous movement without the flighty attitude. They have the athletic ability to perform successfully in rodeos, trail riding, jumping, hunting, eventing, enter the dressage ring or do other any other "fun" things you can think of...

If you are looking for a best friend that can "do it all" -- western sports, eventing, dressage or that perfect hunter, these horses are bred to be able to excel at all equine sports and, most importantly, they have the temperament that we are all looking for.

I have selected my mares and my stallion for temperament as my 1st priority and then for their athletic ability. Because "crazy" is not fun no matter how talented they are.

Our horses are raised in a wonderful pasture environment with other horses so they learn the correct equine social skills. They are also introduced to the farrier and the veterinarian at a young age.

We proudly feed our horses Purina feeds.
